On the second Saturday of May wine passionate runners from all around the world come to Blaye to compete in running either 10,5km or 42km while drinking wine and eating local produce at various chateaux on the way! If you’re into running, you can’t find a more authentic and fun setting! If you’re less into running and more into tasting wines, the chateaux in the neighbouring appellation of Bourg open their doors to the pubilc on the same weekend!
